Manager: Alias Manager


Carbon will support the Alias Manager. However, background-only applications will need to link against the non-user interface variants of the alias-resolving routines to keep from bringing in the UI portions of the AliasManager. The two new routines that should be used are ResolveAliasFileWithMountFlagsNoUI and MatchAliasNoUI.
